Emre Tandirli

Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı
was born in Istanbul in 1977. He is graduated from Istanbul Anatolian Fine Arts High school in 1992 and studied at Mimar Sinan Fine Art University between 1996-2000. After graduating with Sakıp Sabancı 3rd prize of Faculty Graduation award, he continued studying the Master degree in the same University between 2001-2004. In 2002 Tandırlı moved to France to study Plastic Arts in the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne. In 2005 he is graduated from his second Master (Master 2 or DEA degree) and he continued with PhD researches in the same University. In 2008 he has been mentioned with the “very honorable” degree of Doctorate by the Thesis on “The Pictorial Image of Landscape in Contemporary Art”. He is working currently as Instructor Professor at the University of Işık, Faculty of Fine Arts. Emre Tandırlı has realized many international individual exhibitions in France, England, Bulgaria, Canada and Turkey, participated to several of international fairs and collective exhibition organizations in France, USA, England and Turkey. Tandırlı is currently working in his private studio in Istanbul.
